Sangria on the Move

A perfect day out! We had a pretty good visit to Chester Zoo today. Beautiful sunny weather for winter. I think many of the animals seemed to appreciate this too. And it wasn't too busy once the school groups had gone.

This is Sangria the 20 year old tree kangaroo. Even the volunteers were surprised to see her outside as she's such an old lady and rarely ventures out. They're quite clumsy climbers so was taking it quite steady and slowly.

I've added a few extras. I am drawn to the unusual. I was fascinated by the Walking Leaf insect and the Titicaca water frog which is entirely aquatic. And always wondered what a gibbon did with its arms when at rest.
