Henri - The Seventh

Having mentioned that it was my golfing partner Henri’s birthday yesterday, I thought it only right that he should feature in today’s blip.

Here he is at the seventh, having judged his second shot to perfection (i.e. he totally mis-hit it from about 30 yards away and just avoided it dribbling into the ditch just in front of him!) checking his ball for mud. He hit his next shot beautifully onto the distant green but, of course, I didn’t capture that!

We all had our share of mis-hits and good shots, as witnessed by the fact that I managed to get a 2 a 3, two sevens and an 8 in the course of the round! It all added up to a decent score and, more importantly, a lot of fun.

We spent a lot of time in the travel agents this afternoon finalising our family holiday for October.
