Klesmer Jazz at the Synagogue

A and Z came round to take me to a concert at the Borderland Foundation in Sejny. The concert was organised to help a family whose house recently burnt down. I hope that the enthusiasm and energy of the concert quickly transmogrifies into a rebuilt home for the family of 7 temporarily displaced.

The whole band gave us a great concert and I took quite a few reasonable shots.
The clarinet and saxophone player together with the trumpeter shown almost blew the roof off. Dominika's spot on percussion work led some particularly rousing changes of mood in this lively performance and I hope that the stucco is still hanging on.
