Of the sea

This is the inside of a conch shell, but not any conch shell. I can't remember where it came from, but it would have been an op shop or other second hand goods store. What makes it special is the cameo carving of a south sea island scene on the other side (see extra). It is fine and skilful work.

The inside as per the main is entirely natural. It's interesting how it's managed to look like waving seaweed with the sky above.
