Colour, Contrast and Texture
Still focusing on seeing these three before moving on in my book.
Discovered first thing this morning that at least one mouse had been in the cupboard beneath the kitchen sink overnight. The bucket is in there attached to the door. The mess was incredible. So that was the first job of the day. Yuck!
Then Geordie and I had a walk around town, stopping at the surgery with my repeat prescription order. I was desperate to get home for PMQs at noon, and we made it.
It was just a rabble of shouting and disagreement and the poor Speaker was up and down like a jack in the box, remonstrating with them. By the time I switched the tv off I was even more disgusted with our current government than I was yesterday, and I didn’t think that was possible.
I decided I needed to do something to cheer myself up, so I went to St Andrews to have a rake around the charity shops. It’s been over two years since I last went in and out shops like that, and I admit it wasn’t great fun. Just being around so many people I found tough. It was near rve racking and awkward making my way around so many other people. Probably around 90% of people were wearing masks, which was good to see.
But I did pick up one or two nice things, and also bought myself a much needed new pair of jeans. So the trip was worthwhile.
This evening I had a terrific video chat with Mary-Ann. We hadn’t spoken since before Christmas, so we were both bursting with news to share.
