Teddy Tuesday

I have always said, it takes enough time to find a blip each day without having to find one to match a theme, but as we got some time to plan this one and as these two teddies are not going to last much longer, thought it was time they got another airing.
The Koala was sent from Australia by my mums cousin to me in 1949 when I was born. It is made from Kangaroo skin, must have been one of the last proper skin bears to be made. I am quite surprised how well it has kept.
The older Teddy must be well over 100 years old as it had belonged to my auntie, who would have been about 110 now. (Not sure if she got it new). Not much of it left but haven't got the heart to get rid.
