Garrya Elliptica

This very well established bush has been growing in our garden for over 20 years, but I only noticed it 2 years ago (and blipped it) when some shrubs in front of it were pruned and I started taking an interest in the garden.

It's gorgeous and  a real point of interest when all else is  looking rather brown.
