The view

Just chatted to Mum and she's still waiting but thought she might still be having her scan this afternoon or tonight.  One scanner "caught fire" and so has caused a huge backlog and local hospitals are now full. We are hoping that pushes her equal to urgent cases as then she can have the gall stones sorted and then they have a free bed.

Under the circumstances she sounded in good spirits although I feel her boredom!  At least she does have a window to look out of.
