Kitchen floor was finished at lunch time! Hooray- feels like a big step forward. Skirting boards, plinths etc should be going on from tomorrow .
I started to stick ribbon in my bedroom lampshade but decided I needed more glue. Wrote an email expressing disappointment about youth justice system training ending early November and I contact from them since. Got an email back - no apology and slightly stroppy! Decided to go to the new cinema in Beeston to see west side story. There was only one other person there. Good film and updated well but about 30 minutes too long. Cinema is good- pristine as very new and very comfortable reclining seats. No atmosphere though so maybe I still prefer the Broadway! Called into a small shop as I saw a candle stick I liked. Thought it was£5.95 and therefore a bargain so bought it. When I got home realised it was in fact £25.95! My fault so have decided to put it down to experience. Maybe my new contact lenses aren’t as good as I thought they were!
