and so we meet again old friend!

At last spring has arrived!

My old friend the sun made an appearance.

So off we went to a national trust property; it was extremely busy with such a mix of people; young couples, old lovers, families with children, families with dogs...solovely that one home built centuries ago can bring people together.

I love walking around the grounds and imagining myself all those centuries ago; no traffic noise, no aeorplanes overhead; just silence (apart from my thoughts!).

I imagine the days were taken up thinking about how to charm the wealthy men and be loved for the rest of your days....bar a few details not a lot has changed really has it?

I'm just lucky enough to have found my man.

Happy birthday tomorrow to you my closest friend and my first and last love.

We've had good times and bad but when it's right it's right and we are.

Here's to fabulous times now and for many more birthdays.
