Illuminated bridges
Fellow Blipper W and I had a very chilly walk along the river Thames this evening. The nine bridges from London Bridge to Lambeth Bridge are all illuminated. We walked on the North side at first, crossing over at the Millennium Bridge to walk along the South Bank to Lambeth. The main blip is of Southwark Bridge and the extra is a hidden gem - Fruiterers Passage. It is an alley underneath the northern side of Southwark Bridge with ornate tiling and decorative panels. Nearby there is a small plaque to record that near the site used to be the warehouses of the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers.
