Daffodils

I meant to post this yesterday for Mono Monday but forgot to press 'publish'. Duh! The skies have been leaden since Saturday's sunshine, which makes the golden daffodil even more welcome than usual. But I wondered what a noir version of a daff would look like, so here it is. 

I've had a very productive, if chilly, day in the garden, laying cardboard on a new patch to start my newest no-dig section. 

So the Met police have finally decided to investigate No 10 parties and yet the shameless Johnson thanks them and approves of an investigation. What is this? Too much of the white stuff?
