Quille du Diable

Up on the Glacier 3000 this afternoon. We left work at lunchtime and drove to the Col du Pillon to take the two giant cable cars to the ski area. Fabulous views onto the glacier. This giant skittle dominates one of the view points. Translated as the devil’s skittle. There’s an interesting local legend about it.

We had a late lunch in a cafe at the side of it.
