Teddy Tuesday

I didn't know Marlene1949 but had read her backstory and caught up on her journal regularly as she lived in my home area and I enjoyed seeing the local scenery. I admired her tenacity throughout her medical, and other, difficulties, she always tried to rise above her problems so I was very sad to read of her passing.

Marlene loved her teddy bear Rags, so here's my smallest teddy bear, only a few years old, looking after the offcuts (note the Scottish thistle for Burns Night) and new fabrics while I'm busy cutting the next lot, because my old teddy is minding his own business somewhere in the attic, perhaps he will appear for a blip at a later date. This one doesn't have a name except to the Flumlet, who calls him Teddy and  takes him on adventures to the playpark or slides him down the bannister and such activities in the house. Teddy tolerates this excitement remarkably well then returns to snooze in the bedroom until the next assault on his peace and quiet.

RIP Marlene and thanks to Squatbetty for suggesting the theme for today, Marlene's birthday..
