At first glance I thought this was the same mule deer doe I saw here yesterday (and of course did not have my camera). But I soon realized this buck has some small antlers that blend right into the tree branches behind him. He did not seem frightened at our appearance, in fact even took a step toward us. At that point Laney was ready to move on!
