Bakehouse Close

Wandering through the back streets of Edinburgh trying to get to John Lewis by avoiding the traffic,  we found ourselves in Bakehouse Close. It must be famous, its linked to Edinburgh  Museum and signs said it was used in filming Outlander.  I've not watched the series. Is it any good?
