Carnations still hanging on

A somber day. Aunt Babs, my mom’s sister-in-law died on Sunday. I believe she was 98. A good long life but did not make it easier for those left behind. Her remaining daughter Deborah had been her caretaker for a long while. So hard for Deborah as she had looked after her father and sister during their too young final illnesses. My mom had a difficult Sunday as two friends were also in the obituaries. We talked about the good times but so hard to accept she would not see them again.
