Early Burns

It’s going to be a busy week and 2 of them are missing tomorrow evening so I moved our Burns Night supper earlier.

I do enjoy Haggis although we all agree that it depends a lot on the gravy and potatoes. I have a couple of very happy Haggis memories - one on the Isle of Arran and another, in Edinburgh.

During work today, the lovely K took me out for a lunch. What a treat that was.

And also today, a painter has started on our bedroom. We’ve lived here nearly 18 years and I’ve hoped this might happen one day for nearly all 18 years. I’ve not had the wherewithal to clear the room for painting before now, and only now because I isolated with Covid in there in the week before Christmas and cleared it out then. :-))
