Rods down

A brief visit to Walton Hall Gardens this afternoon. It’s a really grey, drab day, and everything seemed very muted, the colours leached out of everything.

The access pathway crosses the Bridgewater Canal, and through the shaded gloom I noticed a lot of people fishing. On the way out I walked down the metal staircase and took a few photos. There must have been a competition going on, they were just starting to pack their gear up.
