Jack On My Back

I left Ollie dog with MrQ and had a lovely spirited drive to John Lewis Welwyn Garden City in my Honda S2000. I got MrQ his replacement Royal Worcester mug in the sale as I'd hoped. They only have these at sale time. A top with herons/egrets on it caught my eye. Sadly it wasn't reduced but I bought it anyway as I'm always photographing Jack heron.

On the way home I popped into Tewinbury. As I approached the hide I photographed a heron and got a shot of a little egret taking off from inside. A lesser black-blacked gull was perched on a post. I shot our own Jack heron taking off when I took Ollie dog for a walk around the lake on my return.
