On the river

Morning visitng to Mum was covered by a brother and a sister so we attended my other brother's online service and then went out for a short run along the river and found this boat. On heading up a field on a path I was reduced to walking there was so much clay/mud stuck to my shoes I could hardly lift them and there was no grip. An extra gives a bit of an idea though it even worse at one point before I got off the field.
Once I was back there was some discussion on various issues relating to Mum with the 3 older siblings who are dealing with any legal issues.
The afternoon was spent seeing Mum, who was bright and able to talk quite a bit and take several phone calls and decide who she wanted to talk to. It was our last visit and we were able to have a really good conversation, and read a Bible passage and pray (and she did, too) before we had to go. Emotional but also uplifting to see her attitude.
A takeaway for tea with 6 of the 10 of us (including partners) and J & S visited her again on the way back to their hotel.
