Fleetwood

One happy dog with a whirlygig tail . It rotates like a helicopter blade when she is really delighted .
Our grand day out ! Our main purpose was to try and recharge Ruby The Motorhome’s battery . We are still getting to know her and accept that as she is quite elderly, in van terms , that we will have to mend and replace all sorts of things .
She had lost all charge when we arrived this morning but the new jumpstart appliance worked a treat ,
We drove 5O miles to Fleetwood ,never once spotting a break in the clouds , just a low , grey sky of gloom . It was so good to be back on the road with Ruby though , her previous owners must have been really nice people because she she has a really pleasant and peaceful vibe about her . The minute we climb aboard I get this lovely sense of calm enfold me .
Unfortunately, the battery didn’t hold the charge so we are back to square one . I thought we might have to come home by tram and train but the fabulous jump start gadget worked again and off we trotted / drove .
Dave has been chatting to his brother who knows a lot about the mechanics of engines so he has a few ideas to explore .
Ah well , all’s well that ends well !
