This is my cat.

He was a rescue adoption 6 years ago and is now 10 years old. It does show that he's been rescued, he is a very independant animal. It's regularly made clear that he stays because he wants to, not because I want him to.

That said, I love him dearly, and have never regretted giving him a good and loving home (even if he does wake me at horrible times of day on sundays for breakfast!)
