There's ..............

 .................. just one fieldfare left .......... what a bossy bird ..... there are four windfall apples and they all seem to belong to him.   Blackbird flies down to an apple, Mr Fieldfare chases him off, another blackbird/another apple, another chase  -  and on it goes.   He hardly has time to eat the apples he's guarding.

I caught him in just the right place, on the apple tree, in full sun.
The weather on Saturday was glorious but very cold - Sunday and this morning (Monday) have been grey and overcast - am still waaay behind.
