The new paving

Here are 2 views (including the Extra) of the new L-shaped paving completed yesterday at Old Government House. This was the final step as part of the installation of the new toilet block. At the same time, providing disabled access for our visitors.

The above photo shows the main paving from the entrance gate to the Coach Hose and in the direction of the house. The Extra shows the section from inside the gate to the toilet block. The dirt on the sides of the paving in the Extra will be covered with cream coloured gravel to keep that area tidy. Some plants will be grown at the far end.

This was funded by a combination of a donation from one of our long-standing members and a grant from the Department who owns the actual property.
