Birthday

It's my birthday today.

I had a blip in mind but as the day progressed I could see it was too ambitious for today. The autumn themed table with candles and birthday cake will have to do today. An after shot of bottles, corks, and cake debris might have been more telling!

I've been well looked after and spoilt by wonderful friends, Mum (and Dad from a distance). I feel blessed (a word I never use lightly) and humbled.

I'm tired and pretty sore now but it was all worth it. A real tonic!

Thank you all for your comments yesterday. It was wonderful to post a portrait blip. Post surgery recovery blipping is mostly restricted to close-ups. Sorry I'm beyond commenting tonight but I'll pop up again soon.
