Animal Farm

Back to Hazelhead Park today. This time to see the animals. The entire park is now known as ‘animal park’ to Kara. You have to pay for entry but I think it’s well worth it. The animals are well kept and plenty of variety.

Kara was quite taken by Hector the Shetland Pony here. She’d seen a pony on the tv yesterday so to see one in real life was a bit mind blowing I think. I can’t see a Shetland Pony without think it’s Lil’ Sebastian from Parks and Rec though.

I didn’t expect to be faced with a 17 foot python in the aquarium section though. Thankfully behind glass.
