Silver Birch

Another monochrome weather day - didn’t venture far! According to a Druid tree calendar I picked up a few years ago between 19 January and 16 February we’re in the Birch Grove of first shoots. I also remember Birchgrove, Llwynbedw, as the next train station after Rhiwbina (in Cardiff, South Wales) which I went through often when visiting my grandparents as a child. They lived in a house called Trees on Heol-y-Coed, the road to the woods:-)
