bushbuck with flies....

all over his poor face!  Its the green season in Zambia - rain just turns everything into a vibrant green - such a contrast to the dull brown of the dry season!

I went for my first long walk this morning since I have been sick - I didn't go as far as usual as I got a bit lightheaded.  Maybe I am not yet 100%!  However, I saw a few bushbuck, some zebra and roan antelope and loads of birds!  Its really muddy walking so had to be careful not to slip and fall with the camera!

Then I set off to the hospital - my friend is definitely getting better as she asked me to bring some toiletries.  The doctor is really pleased with her progress which is wonderful.  

Afternoon at home and this evening going to a friends house for dinner!
