We’ve Crossed The LIne

We are pretty isolated here in Western Australia and for the whole of the time of Covid we have had a line drawn around us with our border closed to the rest of Australia and the world and no covid has escaped into the community!

That line has finally broken and we have gone from 7 cases yesterday to 24 cases today eeeeeeeeek!!!   
I think the spread will go like wildfire as its done everywhere else in the world!  Haven't had my booster yet unfortunately, booked for 2nd Feb, wish it was tomorrow so I could have that extra bit of protection. 
Feeling worried for us all ; (

A small bit of better news is that although we still reached 41c today eventually late this afternoon the sea breeze broke through and it was almost like you could hear a collective sigh across the whole town as that cool air is such a wonderful feeling!!
