Expensive mouthful!

A full day of garage sorting including Memory Boxes. They were tough! I went through and chucked old letters, Valentines cards from my Ex, Engagement cards, 18th and 21st Birthday cards. I looked through scrap books and a whole storage box of negatives. I was always a massive picture taker and every envelope of photographs would be coded and all the negatives would be kept separate to all the actual photo albums incase we had a house fire and one or other got destroyed!!! But now that you can scan pictures so easily I decided I didn't need a full box of negatives!!!! It took alot of strength to throw them away!!! I also threw out my old school uniform!! I cut of the blazer badge and cut the back off for Mr W to use as a lapel badge holder thing as he wanted green.

While I was busy sorting the boxes, Mr W got the garage packed up, did a dump run and we listed loads of stuff free of for sale on Marketplace. People just love a freebee and most of the items had disappeared off the drive before we knew it!!!

Penny - my good friend from school came for dinner and to say goodbye to the house. Shes always loved it here. As I have packed most of the kitchen I arranged for pies and cheesecake to be delivered by a local lady who cooks at home. She actually wanted to buy our house and walked in saying "I would definitely have bought this house!". If you snooze you loose!! Anyway, the pies were lovely and the cheese cake - although huge and very expensive - was Delicious! And we have enough left for the whole week!!!!!
