Always look up

This has become something of a motto of mine. We spend so much time only looking at what's in front of us, and rarely taking the time to appreciate what's above. So I always try to remember to look up.

Newport is going to the dogs at the moment, shops closing, works going on everywhere. I've been guilty of moaning about it, a lot. But, I've been reassured that if we can get through the time of change, there are better things on the horizon for the city. So, whilst I'm looking forward to this, in the meantime I'll also look up - and appreciate some of the beauty the city has to offer.
