Pay Dirt

Such a pretty morning, starting at a sunny 10F degrees.  It was 17F on my way home through the park where I dropped off the recycling.  I drove around to see what was going on.  Understandably, not many people were out.  A walker here, a runner there, a cross country skiier, a few kids on the tobogganing hill.  After spotting the woodpecker, I was sure I'd be back after lunch to hike in my extra warm clothes.  Once the sun disappeared, I lost my enthusiasm to bundle up for a walk.
