Colours galore..

Two shawls and necklaces I bought today. Birthday gifts for friends and I was really pleased with them, and the surprise of further price reductions at the tills for both.

I met my new friend again at the park run this morning and while chatting afterwards learnt he’s been in the GBR Olympics team twice for triathlons. He’s definitely been a big motivation.

A disastrous evening of baking! Gosh, what failures! All salvaged, some started all over again. Nothing wasted but I’m going to stick to sure and tested recipes and tins in future. We’re hosting a small birthday tea tomorrow afternoon. It’s the company that’s most important though…
