A grand day out

A marvellous day of geeking out with my fellow running friends today at the NEC. Endless displays of lycra, innovations that nobody really needs, various forms of sports nutrition and a lot of people who love to talk about running. What’s not to love? I saw lots of running heroes including the mighty Scott Jurek, plus lots of faces I recognised from youtube, podcasts etc. The unexpected running celebratory was Suzanne Shaw (yes, that Suzanne Shaw from Hear’say). I enjoyed watching my friends splurging on running goods (I have no capacity for splurging, I have to think things over for at least three months) but obviously couldn’t resist a new book.
