Down by the ford

We were waiting for a couple of deliveries today so couldn’t both be out until they arrived.  W had her yoga class this morning and after she got back I nipped into town for a couple of things and the deliveries turned up (thankfully both on the same van) mid afternoon.  It was too late for a long walk so we drove up to Glandford and had a browse in the art gallery there and a wander down to the ford.  The late afternoon sunlight was lovely giving a nice glow to the trees and footbridge, and the water was quite high; I certainly wouldn't have wanted to drive through there today.
