Antiques?

I can remember these in pubs. Whoever thought they’d be collected a few decades later?
Busy last day of A/L - optician & chiropodist. A bit of shopping too. In between I popped into Battlesbridge as we need a ‘new’ coal scuttle. Current one has holes that leave coal dust in piles on the kitchen floor. That’s where I saw the ashtrays. It brought memories of the smell in pubs before the smoking ban.
