Oops!

This is what greeted me this morning when I came into the lounge ……. no wonder the tulips were drooping, not a drop of water in the vase. It’s not like me to be quite so neglectful.

I removed some leaves, trimmed the stems, wrapped some kitchen roll firmly round the flowers and put them back in the vase, with plenty of water. I’ll leave them there till tomorrow and then see if they can once more hold their heads high.
