Well That Wasn't Meant To Happen

I was back to trying to reshape & repair the piece of Yew after an early morning trip to the shop.
It isn't going well. 
But I am not giving up on it yet.
While it was sitting with some glue curing I put a small bit of Laburnum on the lathe and started making a bud vase.
I think I may have tried making the wall thickness slightly too thin.

When I went to see how the tulip I am 'documenting' was doing, I found my wee pal was trying to lay claim to it.
I told him to beat it but he was determined to get in on the act.
When he dropped his hat I knew it was only going to end one way.
