Pelicans and Herons, oh my.

After running errands we stopped for a walk with our dog. Yorba Regional Park is one of our favorites. It opened in 1976 for the bicentennial. The trees are huge now and it's so peaceful to walk there. I'm grateful that cities work together to create these bigger parks. There were a lot of people for a Friday. But we heard they had just stocked the lake with rainbow trout. It's such a big park you feel like there is plenty of room for everyone.
