Flying The Flag

Margaret Thatcher would approve of the union flag tailplane on this Van's RV-7 that flew over this afternoon. It reminded me of when she wrapped a handkerchief round the tail of a model British Airways plane that had been painted in the new for 1997 Project Utopia livery featuring ethnic art from across the world.

This homebuilt plane is owned by Matthew Covey of Ely. Bet he's proud of his special reg. Wonder who Mort is?
