Walls of History

Today's DIY featured me decorating the No Mans Land feature of the house. There was at least 7/8 layers of existing wallpaper just put over the top of each other. There were some right gems of patterns, including this 50s one.

It made me wonder just what the house, area, village, world... was like when the decorator was putting this paper up. I'm a bit weird like that.
