One of Darren’s favourite albums is Bat out of hell. Sadly this morning while watching breakfast tv they announced the death of Meatloaf, a larger than life character if ever there was one. To have your first album be one of the top ten selling albums of all time is some achievement, a sad day if you were a fan of his music.


As it was Darren’s day off we ventured a little further than the local reservoir today. We went to Underbank reservoir near Stocksbridge. It’s quite a large reservoir but as it was a sunny afternoon the time it took to get round was very enjoyable, a bit of winter sunshine makes all the difference.
I am in the photo, though quite difficult to see, I was on squirrel alert and had gone running ahead.
