Avenue of Silver Birches ......

..... growing either side of a rather muddy grass path leading down to the parterre garden at Pollok House. 

No sign of any Bullfinches or Nuthatches today ..... just the usual Robins and Tits not forgetting the pesky pigeons who turn up uninvited.
