Patches

This week has been a free online Stitch Camp from Textile Art. I am still way behind - beginning Day 3 on Day 5, but it has been great fun. Earlier in the week I had a lovely afternoon mark-making with acrylic paint on pieces of cloth. Then the pieces were cut into patches and here this morning I was putting together patches, pinning and tacking into a strip. Now I am beginning to stitch across the whole strip to try to make it 'flow' - not sure I am as good at doing that as doing the playing bit. But it was nice to be creating my own fabric again.
