Gaslighting.

Good news, British Gas turned up and I can honestly say it was the best service, with the best engineer, ever. He serviced our fire first, although we never use it, it's always good to know it's in good working order. He then proceeded to service the boiler, and everything was working as it should be. He was here about two hours, and we couldn't fault him. We did have to have a new carbon monoxide  detector fitted as they are only good for seven years, and the date on the back was 2020. If the service had gone ahead last year that would have been noted, but never mind, it's been replaced, so we are good for another seven years. It's a bitterly cold day, with no sign of any sunshine, but at least it's dry. Looking forward to watching Death in Paradise tonight, and imagining I am bathing in those warm waters. Dreams come cheap.
