Please keep my socks going!

My daughter loves her cosy cashmere socks and will do anything to keep them going. Last year she went through the soles of the feet so I put on a pink cashmere patch from an old jumper of mine. They have just come back to me with holes in the heels - so - out comes the pink jumper and another patch goes on. I can see there will come a time when there will be more pink patches than grey wool!
