Pura Ulun Danu Bratan

Today we travelled from the busy south of Bali to the tropical village Munduk (meaning mountain ridge in Balinese). Along the way we have seen the most extra ordinary collection of light motorbikes (with upto 4 riders at the time).
As it is quite a long ride to Munduk, we stopped of at the Pura (temple) Ulun Danu Bratan on the banks of the Bratan lake.
The temple is devoted to the godess of the lake Dewi Danu. Quite a touristy place - but very '70's style.
We have rented a cottage with Manding cottages and the cottage is a traditional colonial style cottage - dark wood, klamboe (musquito net), veranda, etc. On arrival it rained really hard and at dinner time we overviewed quite a thunderstorm...
