Thursday: Canyon Lights

Work is not particularly satisfying at the moment.  I’m getting everything into a good place for my successor, wrapping things up, winding things down - the problem with this stage is that you start to feel a bit irrelevant and side-lined but I’m staying engaged for as long as people will let me.  But I do need to be mindful that I’m moving on to something where the current incumbent probably feels the same way.

We finally made it to the Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge - a wonderful walkway of lights, bridges, quietness and peace.  We were supposed to go a few weeks ago but getting Covid prevented that.  So we paid again to go tonight and it was definitely worth it.
