Copacabana beach life

Walked along the front of Copacabana tonight, noticing all the little changes since I was last here, 11 months ago. Not many of the much- loved original sunny yellow beach bars left any more. All replaced with more modern, snazzier versions, which look good nonetheless and perhaps a little less daunting and more accessable to the mainstream visitor. Dinner of a big mixed salad, then chicken with couve (deep green shredded cabbage) and rice with broccoli. A quick trip to the supermarket after dinner (11pm!) to get some basic supplies in for breakfast.
